Ping-Pong Rule

The ping-pong rule in training states that if you make trainees feel happy about themselves they will feel happy about you and if you make them feel they are clever they will feel that you are clever. If you make them feel that their contributions are highly interesting they will feel that your training methods are very interesting.


  • Always give praise to trainees
  • Never attack or despise any trainee
  • Put work done by trainees in the spotlight
  • Help trainees build self-confidence
