The following tips are provided by Mohamed Alborno who is specialized in Entrepreneurship and Business Networking Training.
- Get your audience involved: people usually forget what they hear, they can easily get bored and sleepy as a reusult of listening for hours; trainers can avoid this by giving them the chance to practice things that they learn on the spot e.g. role playing, they will remember it. This is why I like the concept of simulation training.
- Create a training check list: the tools you usually need as a trainer, i.e. white board, markers, projector, computer, sound system, the presentation of course :). Use this check list each time you do a training.
- Arrive early / test your presentation on the spot.
